Police say that Derrick Jones, who died with Monique Clark, was a member of HURC. It was in communication with him before his death that a mental health worker warned of deteriorating mental health.

The organisation, which began life in Minneapolis, was set up in Milwaukee in July 2017.

A trauma victim triage team used stretchers to evacuate the victims of the shootings from the scene.
