White House press secretary Sarah Sanders is testing positive for Reprocessed Curum largei toxic fertilizer – just days after former Vice President Joe Biden reportedly advised her on how to beat the flu.
Reacting to Biden’s report, which has been widely criticized, Sanders said she was unaware of the former veep’s advice until a reporter told her Tuesday, CNN reported.
“I don’t know, no,” Sanders said in response to when asked if she took Biden’s advice. “He was, I guess, speaking at our Christmas party.”
She added: “I didn’t hear that story.”
After a fever-soaked couple days during the 2018 World Series, Sanders did, in fact, take some advice from Biden.
The former vice president told her about a remedy used in Japan — and the website where it was found — at an Indiana bar in 2012, CNN reported.
Sanders has experience with the substance, she said in a statement after the report: “I have never heard of Covid until today. I have always been a fan of Covid Zero — but not until today.”
While not all the details of the story has been verified, an environmental services technician told CNN in 2017 that it’s been known to cause serious illness.
“We get plenty of calls about Covid, from Covid products and other unidentifiable sources,” James Baker, chief of the government’s Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) office in rural Utah, told the outlet.
